Responsive Web Onboarding Redesign

ABOUT

We collaborated with the Figopara team to revamp their responsive web onboarding process. Previously, users had to complete an extensive registration form, resulting in high bounce rates. The onboarding then involved a multi-step procedure where users first submitted documents for review, awaited approval, continued with onboarding, and then awaited a second approval before they could use the product. This cumbersome approach created significant friction, causing Figopara to lose users during the process as they waited for approvals.

To address these issues, we reimagined the approach by streamlining and consolidating all onboarding steps, enabling users to complete the process in one seamless effort and only wait for a single approval. Once approved, users can immediately begin using the platform instead of navigating through further onboarding stages.

FINAL DESIGNS

Previous registration had 15 fields to fill. We reduced that to 5, making it shorter by only asking required and easy to answer questions. We also added social proof to generate trust.

Shorter Registration

We separated personal information from the company information into multiple steps. In addition, we eliminated the need to mail the contract, making it all electronic.

Multi-step data collection

For each step, we added information for why we’re asking certain sensitive information, to be transparent and help the user feel safe.

Information transparency

After analyzing the need for many documents, we reduced the required documents from 7 to 3. We also added logos from references to provide trust.

Simplified document upload

Even though this is a difficult step for the users, we added it to the flow as it makes using the product much easier for the users. This step was also important for Figopara strategically to have users connect their invoice integrators.

We added extensive guidance to this step to help the user as much as we can. They can also skip the step.
